Shirley Roberts was born and raised in Lake County, Ohio, on June 5,1926. Shirley worked and retired from Krogers grocery store where she was a cashier. She had one daughter and three sons, one of whom is the owner of Shirleys, Mark Roberts. Shirley left us to be with God on July 14, 2009. Shirley made the comment that “if you get into the food industry you will never go hungry.” As a tribute to her, “Shirleys Frozen Custard” was opened.
